ground loop isolator?

2002 civic I get horrible buzzing interference through my stereo and I do have the amp RCA cables run separate from the power. has anyone used these and do they work?? TIA

88 gt (waiting to be built when I get my mid-life crisis)
2002 honda civic SI looks ricer without the damn pipe!

I have never used one, but where do you have your amp grounded?

in my hatch area, I also have a negative post with several grounding cables from that to the chassis and motor

What I meant was where exactly do you have it grounded, how far from the amp, did you sand down to bare metal, are you using some type of terminal plate/boot, what size wire, etc.

Also, maybe it's the head unit ground? Sometimes it's best to give it its own ground vs using the one on the factory harness.

the amp ground is about a ft long, i gave the head unit a separate ground already
