pioneer AVIC N1 repair.

the screen won't fold down and go in. Who can fix this and how much?

It's the ribbon cable. Pioneer had a recall on them about a year and a half ago. Got mine done for free, just had to ship it back to em.

Call em and see if they still do it.

Any Pioneer authorized service center. My guess $150+.
IMO, if you can, send it to Pioneer rather than a local repair center.
<--not a Pioneer dealer.

Edit: looks like good news according to the above post.

If they won't do it, you are better off buying a new one.... They are EXPENSIVE to replace through a service facility. I was quoted $300 parts and labor before pioneer stepped up.
