Anybody use DLNA?

I am about to buy a Samsung plasma with DLNA and was wondering if anyone has messed with it. I know very little about it except for the small amount I have read. Basically what I want to know is can you set up a shared folder on a PC and stream movies from the folder to the TV over the network?

Link to the TV.

Yes, easy to use and works ok. Not very practical for me since I have a dedicated media server/setup though.

I have the Samsung LN52B750 and it works flawlessly. I have several ripped movies and MP3's on an external hard drive connected to my computer. You have to load the CD that comes with the TV onto your computer and run the program everytime you want to access the media on your computer or external hard drive.
