budget surround sound speakers and center

ok I'm slowly but surely putting this together.

Ok I'm not looking to go broke, just upgrading my 7 or 10 year old system.

Receiver I got is a onkyo tx sr604 , thanks to 2K2 LS1,
and I picked up a couple of JBL BALBOA 30 tower speakers. for the price and being on a budget I couldn't go wrong.

Now on for the speakers in the back and the center channel. Should I match up my center with the towers and go with a JBL center?

Oh and my sub I'm using a sony 12 , shit it was to be at least 10 years old to. But damn that thing still hits. lol. I know its no $$$$$ sub but I think it works fine.

any suggestions?

Always match your center with your main speakers(towers). Just make sure it's from the same series.
Rears really don't matter(to an extent). I'm just running a pair of HTD in walls. I think they were about $100 each.

I know you've already bought your mains, but don't discount all the "theater in a box" kits. If you're on a budget, some of that stuff rocks.

well shit, they dont make them anymore. maybe thats why the towers were really cheap. So right now I'm looking at other JBL center channels.

x2. You want it to mesh. If you hear differences in timbre when you switch from one speaker to another you won't be happy.
