speaker repair

Ive got some 10yo Inifnity floor standing speakers that have built in powered woofers. Last nite, i think the built in amp started crapping out. The amp gets so hot compared to the other side speaker that u can barely touch it. I was watching The Dark Knight and it would clip out everytime the bass would hit also. Anybody know of any places that could repair something like this?

I would so love to get new ones, but no chance the wife allows that. But at least they sound pretty damn good even compared to new speakers.

just buy some new ones, don;t tell her, and leave the old ones sitting there unplugged. She'll never notice!

It might be hard for you to swallow that pill, but there are lots of 4 bangers that run 13s and better. SRT-4 Neons, Cobalt SS's, Saturn Sky Redline's and Evo's do it all the time.
