HTS6600 Philips DVD Home Theater System

I am looking at this system & I like it because it also has a connection for ipod for music.

I have a question with this type of system, can someone tell me if I could possibly connect my ps3 & xbox 360 & u-verse audio stuff through these speakers or is this just for the DVD it states?

If possible what else can I buy to make something like that work?

TIA.

it looks like it only has one or two audio inputs so you would need to an AV switch to hook everything up. might want to consider buying an actual reciever and two speakers or a different surround sound. Not saying that one is bad... just wont do everything you want it to.

I see. This system is $199 so I was thinking it was a good price since it's priced about $350+ everywhere else.

Which would be a good system from around 400-500$ max I guess.

How about something like this one http://www.amazon.com/Sony-BRAVIA-Th...375945&sr=8-1# ?

Not bad, but dang the ipod dock alone is $99 buck! Not a bad deal I guess, putting it at about $400+taxes and shipping.

you dont have to have an ipod dock if you just want ipod playback. a simple $5 cable (1/8" stereo to RCA) will allow you to connect and play. the dock allows you to control the ipod from the onkyo remote and charge at the same time.
