TV mount Gurus help needed

I have a new 52" Sony LCD on the way.

I am looking for mounts and found this older samsung model wmn5090. It looks like they are/were the same thing as the omnimount52. I am almost positive this will work on my sony, as they are supposedly the almost identical mounts. Just thought I would see if there is anyone out there with a definite answer.

I know the samsung is quoted for working with Samsung models. I can read that part, but I'm asking for real knowledge of the people who have dealt with these kind of issues or mounts.

FYI - The reason that particular mount is made for Samsung's vs Sony's has nothing to do with the way the Display bolts to the mount. The mount is a universal 42" - 60" mount, and will fit just about any TV out there in that size range.

The reason that one is designed for Samsung models is in the way it's motorization is controlled, that one is set to be controlled from a Samsung remote through it's Ex-Link connection. Your Sony will not control it and therefore it could be useless unless it has a secondary way of control via a remote that comes with it.

I would do more research before purchasing.
