Now I can get XM & Sirius!

i've been waiting on getting a sirius converter for my vette to see if they actually offer sirius on xm hardware...apparently they're doing it now. best of sirius (including stern, etc.) and xm stations is $16.99/month...apparently they offer some savings for the multi-year deals.

There are 11 Sirius plans available but some of them are dumb. For example, you can get everything that Sirius offers for $12.95/mo -OR- you can get an a la carte 50 channel plan (limited channels) and add Howard Stern for $12.95/mo. Better read all the plans before selecting. Unfortunately, the channels that transfer from XM to Sirius and vice versa, are very few.

i mostly just wanted to get the stern channels in the vette, which has xm. i was considering putting a nicer head unit in it, but as little as i drive it, i think that i'm just going to keep the factory unit. to keep the factory unit and get the stern channels, i would have to buy and install the sir-gm1 or whatever it's called, but now i won't have to do that with the "xm best" package...all of xm and the stern channels (amongst several other sirius channels)
