Valentine V1 problem.. Solved?

Well this is weird. I had problems with my V1 going off like crazy for no reason and it seems to be have pretty much fixed itself I've noticed since replacing my Alpine Deck with my current Sony MD unit that it doesn't go off anywhere near as much as it did before. Previously it got to the point where I was ready to chunk it out the window (well... not really but it did cross my mind ). Now it's almost perfect

So it sounds like it was interference of some sort. They report the same sort of problems with people who run solid core wires.

That's the only thing I can think of. It still does it but no where near as much as before. Enough that I don't care to upgrade as much as I did before Just happy to have actually cured another gremiln in my car
