infinity bass link

my baby bro has one in the truck i bought him. it blew a fuse, he replaced it (25amp) now it makes a " heartbeat type noise" and isnt playing the bass notes. is it trashed?? thanks for the help gents.

it's dead. no power going through it anymore. i just left it on for about 15 secs while it was doing that "pulse" and now now power light or anything
i'll prolly take it somewhere to get it checked out.

I had the Basslink T but never used it since it was larger than I could fit in the trunk of my Cuda. I sold it and bought the smaller Basslink I. Got it wired up and all seems to work pretty well. Can't understand what would make yours "pulse" like that. Does it still do it when you disconnect the audio source to it? If so, may be coming from the power source.

That's interesting. Infinity usually is a quality product. At least that's been my experience regarding their powered home theater subs.
