DISH DVR pissing me off

Some reason its only recording part of the shows I have listed to record. Heck even sometime I only have 5 secs from a show recorded. And these are show that I have set on the dish pass.

Anyone else had any kind of problems with there? Oh and no one elses uses my TV so I know none is coming ni the room. i have no idea. I will prolly give them a call this weekend.

yea I love having it cause I'm never at home to watch things when it comes on. I remember back in the day when TIVO first came out. I thought that was the greatest invention for the longest, Being able to stop live TV Tell you the truth I like my TIVO over the DVR.

Set the recording to be on Priority, this will lock the show in and guarantee the show records at full length. **I do this with drag racing on Sundays!**

lol I just found out the problem. I guess I need 2 boxes now. It was my dad stopping the recording from his TV. lol He thought he keep pushing a button so he keep canceling it out. lol

I have Dish Network DVR VIP722 Receiver and I have not had any problems with recording programs. I do not use Dish Pass. I create the timer for the program I want and set it for recurring if need be. It hasn't cut off any shows as of yet. However, I do have a problem with not being able to get the Caller ID feature to work. The techs just think it's a software issue that might get resolved in a future update.

Try resetting your box and don't use Dish Pass. Just press record on a tv show and then follow the prompts to make it record only once or recurring. I haven't had any problems going that route.
