iPod Adapter?

Well I've been looking, but all I see adapters for are for the Mach 6-Disk CD Changer and I don't think it has the same plug as my deck. My 03 GT came with a Mach MP3 instead of a Mach 6-Disk. Does anyone know any other alternatives that would enable me to plug my iPod in? I've already tried FM transmitters and they are all trash for me.

There are lots of touch screen options, and no I am not a sales person.

I personally do not like the touch screen units, they usually just have a bunch of useless frills. I just want good sound quality.

i went to EW and got kenwood ddx-7019 (touchscreen + dvd) installed in my bullitt. This was a little over a year agao. It fit great and filled the whole area. You can add on an ipod adapter, they ran the cables for ipod and usb into my glove box.

it was a great head unit but it got stolen from my car. so i'm back to my stock 6 disc pos.

Add on iPod adapters sound good but the controls suck. The best controls are on the video units or models like the Alpine iDA-X100. They are designed from the start to control an iPod. Your factory deck is not designed to control an iPod so most interfaces are using a CD changer input. The controls are minimal and clunky. Some of the interfaces allow you to control the iPod from the iPod. Worst case, you can use a HARDWIRED FM modulator and it will sound decent.

I've got a Pioneer HU with the Ipod adapter, I love it. Sounds good and I can control everything using my pioneer remote

The thing with control over HU is i've noticed everything i've tried out is just so slow... there is a .5-1 second pause every time i go to the next song. its kinda anoying...

the only unit i havent noticed this in is some of the newer alpine touchscreens seem to be blazing fast just like an actual ipod.

my pioneer avic d3 was slow and so is my alpine cde-9874
