Question HD radio installation.

Is it possible for me to keep my OEM deck and have HD radio? It's an '04 vette with the bose and the 12 disc in the back. I was wondering if I could leave the deck alone and just connect the HD portion of it back towards the 12 disc? Is that even an option?

I know next to nothing about car stereo's, so any input is appreciated.

Yes, it can be done. I'll guess $400+ for parts and labor. www.HDRadio.com will show you some of the available HD add-on products.

Thanks, so I'd order the converter below and then bring it up to your shop?

As long as they make a Dice unit for your car, yes. Text will only work on some models and HD Radio broadcasts the artist and song title info. Also, make sure that the module you choose will do multicasting or you're missing out on a big part of HD.
