TV Experts unite..

I bought a TV today that "needed some work". Not sure what I have gotten myself into here. I do not have the OEM power cord but it appears to be a standard power cable for a computer. I plug the cable in and hear something click inside like it is turning on then the led light start flashing red. I know this cant be good. I need someone that knows how to work on plasmas It is Phillips 42 model #42PF7220A.

Does anyone know anyone that works on TV'S? Preferably someone honest that wont try and take me to the cleaners.

I've never used them personally, but I've always heard good things about Sam's. Too bad they're in the hood.

Haha, yes they are. His location is impossible to get too. Seemed like an honest man though. His "diagnostics" fee was cheaper then anyone else's in town. Only $35 bucks oppose to 100 everywhere else.

I am just hoping it will be something around a couple hundred.

Impossible to get to? I can think of about 20 different ways to get there. You can't get much more 'accessible' than being on the corner of two major streets.

I guess I shouldnt say Impossible. Just rather confusing when you have never been over on that side of town before.

LOL..its a bitch to get to. If they are still doing construction, you have to drive down the street and go offroading to drive to the back side of the parking lot

That construction on belt line has been going on for 4+ years to long

Construction on Beltline is over and has been for about two months.

Additionally, if you took the obvious route (Story), you wouldn't have to go down Beltline. It's been a month or so since I've been down that way, but there are 3 entrances off of Shady Grove in to that parking lot and two or more on Story. Last time I was that way, there was no construction anywhere near the store.
