looks like a nice tv... Id go out and look at the different pictures from the TV's in that range. I dont like the 120hz tv's that much.

goto CC and check it out, if you like it shoot me a PM and I will get you a better deal as 8mpg said, 120hrz TV arent for everyone, standard definition and lower HD rates can look worse than a 1080P/60 hrz display.

I actually have not seen this particular model in person yet, so I cannot officially comment.

A lot of people think the 120hz looks too cartoonish. I haven't seen one to give an opinion.

Hertz is the refresh rate, or how many times it is refreshing the screen. You can change your hertz on your computer as well.

At least I hope this is the correct information or part of it.

That's a good description. I was looking at 50" inch LCD with a 120mhz rate and the store had X-men playing and it looked almost totally animated. The people looked like extremely well done computer animated cartoons.

i guess that i've never noticed the cartoonish look. i've had my 40" samsung 1080p 120hz since october, and it has a great picture! it's in my gameroom and it makes the ps3 experience a little better than others that i've seen, as well. the only thing that i've noticed is that the picture (as with most good hdtv's that i've noticed) looks too real...which is the best way that i can describe it. you can see imperfections in the actor/actress's faces, etc, which looks strange.

im not a big fan of 120 hz but you can turn that off so no big deal. it just drives the price of the tv up.

its good on certain things. on movies (filmed at 24 hz) it makes them look like a documentary. its seems to get rid of the cinema filter. it helps on games, computer pictures. i havent seen it on tv/sports yet.

not sure how much they are but look for the 81 series from last year. model would be lnt5281. 81 series would be LED light.

if it makes any difference i am really not that picky on the picture, i dont watch movies or dvds or anything like that. sitcoms sports xbox 360 is about it. i am now watching a damn near 8-9yr old rear projection big screen and i think the pic on that looks fine.

got stripes what can you do for me on this?? thanks bro. 817-946-1352 paul

We just got the 750, and I must say for an LCD tv not only does it look pretty decent, but its got all kinds of cool ass features. Local weather and news, plus built in Cooking reciepes, work out routines, games, built in pictures sorted in 3 catagories: Art, Relaxation (water and scenery) and Party which has fire works, champagne glasses and what not.

We got it at best buy for $2799.99.
