3-5k is a lot to spend..

Circuit city has the Sharp Aquos 52" for $3000
Also CC has a Samsung 52" for $2000

I dont like the look of the 120hz tvs... I believe momo doesnt like them as well. Everything just looks fake. All of the above are 1080p with 3hdmi. Cant go wrong with either. If you can wait, Sharp does friends and family gigs every now and again...you can pick up an Aquos 52" for 1/2 price (something like $1899 with free shipping and no tax)

If you actually want LCD, I would suggest this...

The Sharp LC-52SE94U

http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage....=1202649422514

It does have 120hz, but sharp does it differently than Samsung panels (what most 120 sets are)

They use an algorithm to get the odd frames instead of just putting a black frame in place of all the odd ones.

I don't usually suggest LCD's for bigger sets, but this is one of the best BIG LCD's I've seen. The Sony XBR's and even samsungs 600's still seem to have motion blur with their 120.

Oh, plus it has networking and you can check stuff like weather and local news and stuff for free with their software and you can get customer support through the same method. Also, a 10 bit panel and processor. It has other features too, I just can't remember them all.

Thats what I would suggest too, but with many people, if they are set on LCD, just recommend them a decent one.
