One last speaker installation question

Ok, the 6x9's are to big for the back. I want to take the rear panel back there off and cut out the sheet metal to whatever size will get them to fit. Does that peice of metal that they sit on detachable? If not, what should I do to get them to fit correctly.

Wink

No it's not detachable, you can cut it out with a jigsaw or something similar. Just use the template that came with the speakers. It would have been easier to just get stock size 6x8's
