Looking for good 6 1/2 inch components...

That will work well with a PPI amp pushing 150watts rms. I have had the amp running some Infinity Perfect 6.1's for years, and its time to put the system in my civic. I want to get a nice set of components that will work good with that amp...what brands should I be looking at. Let me know what works good for ya'll!

Chris

its got 18's though! Looking to put two 10's in a sealed box in the trunk, and do the components up front. Might just buy another set of perfect 6.1's...they have been really good to me

It does kinda look like that! Its actually floor cleaner for the mop...I have hardwood floors, so I gotta mop all the time with the dogs coming in and out.

If you can fit 7" speakers I've got a friend selling a new set of D971s for $600. He's a dealer so the full warranty is still in effect.

Or shop around on ebay for some QSD 216 Quarts. They'll still be $400 or so but are some of the nicest sounding speakers you can get in the sub $1500 price range.

um yea, that's about as good as it gets without going to KD-60s which are like 4 gs... Whats Dan want for em? I might pick em up. 165W3s?

Chris, Focal, it's the best sound you can get, and you can find em on ebay cheap... I'd go with the yellow Kevlars if you want it REAL loud, or some Utopias if you can find em since they aren't made anymore... I have 2 sets of Utopias sitting in boxes for some day.
