Vert Owners w/Subs?

I've got an 04 GT Vert, about to take out the Mach 460 and replace HU & Speakers along with my amp installed. I'm trying to find a box for one 12" Sub in my trunk.
Any Vert owners with subs, what are your box dimensions and was it an easy fit? I also want to make sure that the sub is easy to take out if needed

Thanks

Good luck with that. I've tried and failed with the box for a 12. Sorry. If you find something let me know.. I think the only thing you may get to work properly without sacrificing your whole trunk is a 10" sub.

I know I've read on some places that people had put 12's in their Vert I just can't where?
I just hate the fact I'm sitting on two 12's right now and can't use either one. I don't want to buy a 10 when I have them. Guess I need to sell em first

I had a single 10 in my 03 vert in a small truck type box. Small Alpine mono amp was run from the wires to the amp in the back. Sounded dang good for stock head unit and other speakers.

I'm sure there is a prefab enclosure that will fit one 12. We did 2-10" in a 02 vert last week and there was still trunk space left.

dont know what the trunk in a vert looks like but couldnt you just make it down firing and have it fit fine?

plus does the trunk have a additional wall or is the back of the rear seats the "wall"?
if so, just remove the rear seats and you should be able to fit in w/e. i've done this with many times. also good cuz its Very difficult to remove (and bad i guess) for thieves

oops didnt see you want to be able to take it out.... only option is either a sealed and slanted box or a down firring box then most likely.

dad has a 12W7 in his 5.0 vert... it's shoe horned in there, it won't come out without taking 2-3 amp racks out, and its fiberglass molded to the spare tire well form. I think it is about 2.15 cubic feet after displacement. It's a bad little bitch of a box, my friend who made it is retired from teh biz unfortunately.
