Question Antenna Que.

Have any of you guys changed the whole antenna assy. in a fox. I am thinking one of my coupes has a break in the cable or a bad connection somewhere because the radio (stock and the new aftermarket one as well) gets horrible reception. It is connected at the base of the antenna and the headunit, so that is the only thing I can come up with is change the whole thing. Any advice is appreciated, Thanks.

I've only had to do it once but what made it easy for me was when I unplugged it from the back of the radio I tied some string to the end and pulled it out from the fender. I then just tied the end to the new antenna and pulled it back through. Just a thought to make it easier.

Sorry but I can't think of a way of "testing" the antenna.

If you can not pick up AM very well/at all it is an antenna problem.

That sounds strangely familiar

Guess I need to do the same thing and replace my "tape" antenna
