Yes, they're a lower-end that had a lot of quality problems. The last time I saw them, they were all 800x480, or something to that effect - IE, not TRUE HD. I believe the last place I saw them sold locally was Sams. What do you want to know about them? I also think they were more intended for a cheap business alternative TV. By the way, google has plenty of info on them.
Looking at google, there are some ones that will do up to 1080i, no mention of 1080p.
I'd pass, check out costco.com for a cheap 1080p non-name-brand TV with a pretty good consumer rating. It's the 42" sceptre for $899.
