Whats the best budget projector.. say under $1000, It will most likely be hooked up to a PC, but wouldnt mind if if it could do HD.

whats are a few good ones? pros/cons of them?

Infocus IN72 cheap and looks great (if you can find one) or a IN76 bit more expensive. And they will both look pretty good in a lighted room. Its not a HD projector though. Until, I can find a decent 1080p projector for under $1500 I'm sticking with my current setup.

HC900U by Mitsubishi, I think FRY's had if for $999.99 not sure if they still have any stock though, great for PC and it is one of the few projectors with the TI 768 DLP Chip, meaning it can do true 768P for PC's or 720P for HT applications.. I have its big brother the HC3000 and love it.

EDIT: I just looked them up and HC3000U is the only one that is true 768P, sorry, I hear that you can still pick them up at various stores even though they quit making them almost 2 years ago. Amazon.com has them as well.

Optoma HD70 is also a great sub $1000 projector.

go to curtpalme.com and buy a crt. setup will take a lil while but you will love it. I DO

00 Excursion PSD tuned and bolt-ons (very quick for 5ton truck )
