What do you guys think of the vizio????

Vizio is one of the highest rated bargain brand HDTVs on the market. IMO they're fine for what you pay for. The only drawback to their LCD screen is lower contrast ratio compared to plasma or higher end LCD TVs.

IMO, if that's what is in your price range, go for it.

This is my first hd purchase and i don't want to be disappointed if i go out and buy one.

I have the same TV in my bedroom. I love it and I would highly recommend it. Best buy for the money.

for the price, its a GREAT tv. Its made by LG... its the older technology

yeah, for the actual LCD panel, LG and Vizio are the same IIRC... I know samsung and sony share the same production facility for their LCD panels. I don't know about the plasma panels

nice tv for the price...cant go wrong. for tv's i've always been a sony guy though. only other brand i would go to would be samsung.

I knew it was one of the off brands for another major brand, but I couldn't remember if it was Samsung or LG. I know Samsung for a while was making the Polaroid TVs.
