Do I have all the cables I need?

They sold me 1 optical cable, 1 hmdi cable & 1 subwoofer cable. Is this all I need to hook up my tv, surround sound, DVD player & garnde digital box(NO HD Channels)

This is what I bought:
Mitsh. 65733 (65" dlp)
Tosiba HD DVD Player (HD-A30)

hd player>>>>>HDMI to TV and Optical to Stereo reciever
subwoofer cable>>>self explanatory

Not sure what kind of outputs your digital box has. I assume your regular rca/s-video.

EDIT...You're going to need another cable if you want to use your surround for shows from your cable box. What kind of outputs does your cable box have?

Cable box are RCA & S-Video, I think. Where would the other cable hook up to? Best Buy said that is all that I need to run my TV, DVD & Surround Sound. Sorry, but I don't know anything about this stuff.

If the cable box only has 1 set of outputs(double check though), hook rca/s-video to TV. On back of TV you should have a digital coax and rca's as an "output". Either get a digital coax cable or rca and hook that up to your stereo input.

You still need a digital cable to hook up the audio from your cable box. Most likely a Digital Coax cable.

Check your box.. i know my non-HD DVR has optical.. I will be doing HDMI from the PS3 to TV, optical from the PS3 to receiver and optical from DVR to receiver.
