Need your help guys (PLEASE)!!!

I want to return my 65733 TV back to best buy cuz of that dam high pitch sound. I'm thinking of just getting a different TV. I don't want to go threw the hassle of having to return this one for an other one to have the same problem. My only problem is that I only paid $1299 for it (which was a great deal) & don't want to spend that much more than that. Can you help me fing a GREAT deal so that I can go back to best buy & have them price match it plus the 10% off. The 65" is really too big for my apartment right now & I don't plan on getting a house untill a year from now. So I don't mind getting something a little smaller than the 65". Maybe something like a 60" or 61". If I have to drop down to a 56" I will as long as I get a Great TV. So PLEASE help me find a great deal cuz the only stores here where I live are best buy, circuit city, conns & sears.

Thanks,
Mike

In my opinion, for that price, you should just swap it out for another and hope it doesn't make the noise. Otherwise, you may end up paying the same or more for a smaller TV. You could always just get your money back and start over.

Should I keep swaping it out until I get one that sounds better. I read this on AVSFORUMS about the noise. What do you think?

"For all of you that are suffering from the noise issue, I may have a fix. I had a Tweeter tech come out today to hear my set (Which had a noise issue. Not real bad but noticeable) and fix some geometry issues. He called Mits Service as soon as he heard the noise, they knew about it and recommended a fix. Basically all the tech did was take the twin leads that go to the ballast, take off the tubed insulation, wrap the lead in electrical tape, and put the tubed insulation back on the leads. Once he fired the set back up there was no noise at all except for the fan. As I stated Mits Service knew right away and gave him the fix on the phone. The whole thing took approx. 15 minutes. My geometry was also fixed and looks excellent now. I hope this helps anyone out there that may be having this issue. Let me know...."
