Flatpanel Question

A buddy of mine and I are planning on getting a flatpanel around the 42"-49" size, mainly used for gaming and some TV....which would be better, LCD or Plasma?

generic apartment lighting-maybe a lamp in the corner, daylight coming through the patio door....nothing real bright

Plasma is going to have a more refelctive surface so it doesn't do as well in rooms with lots of light... LCD may be a better choice, or if you're not dead set on a flatpanel look into one of the projection TV's, you can get a lot more for your $$

I use a 42" LG plasma 720p set.

Looks SICK with my 360.
