EW- Sirius in civic

im looking at sirius for my 06 civic EX coupe. It has the premium system and i dont want to alter it. all i want is something i can plug into the AUX port and use from there.
What cost effective sirius units can you reccomend and do you sell them? what do you charge to install the sirius antenna or what ever is involved in this?

haha! He does sell Sirius head units. I didn't get mine from him, as it was given to me. However, he did my install at a good price, and it looks very clean. You can do a search in this forum if you want to see pics.

I think I called the thread "Went to see EW, and he robbed me.". Can't remember. It's been a while.

Many options. Install will cost more than tuner. Best sound will require an Aux input device rather than wireless FM modulator. If you don't want it to be portable, I recommend the Starbase since it includes a hardwired FM modulator. The sportster4 is a nice portable but does not work without being docked at home, car, etc.

My bad. Didn't mean the head unit in the car. I meant the sirius tuner.

Same question on my end, but doesn't someone like PAC or someone make a converter to use the Sirius on XM factory cars? I heard it even lets you see the name and everything on the radio, just have to have a Sirius specific Antenna? This is ok because my car is XM ready, but no antenna, and I hate XM... If I have to add everything anyways, I'd rather go Sirius as well... (I was the one who recommended Dave to do it as well). We both have new Civics.

Do you have an 1/8" jack on the dash or are you referring to the factory aux on the rear of the deck for XM, changer, etc?
Does it need to be removable from the car for use in another car or portable like an iPod?

I have the 1/8" Aux jack.. as for removal.. as long as i can hide it .. i dont really care about if it can come out of the car or not.

Looks like the InV for $29.99 is the cheapest product. I can not buy it cheaper than that. 1/8" male to 1/8" male cable approx $3. Optional dash bracket to mount unit cleanly $20-35.
