Fill me in, you're going to help us build our own boxes? I am interested if that is what it is.

so i have a 12" RE SX right now powered by a 500/1 and need to do something with the box. right now i have a huge box that slides around and takes up half my back seat. i was thinking about putting a 2" lift on the rear seats and putting the sub underneath?

site recommends a min of [email protected] or [email protected] optimal

i would assume my only option would be to downfire the sub... assuming i could even fit the sub under there? how would that effect the sound quality of an upper level sub like this? i've only heard some low end MTX subs down fired and a few W0's but nothing this big...

any comments? sugestions?

just trying to figure out if i should try it out. if yall think it would be a good idea, im gonna lift the seats up before saturday to give me more time on the box.

thanks

Tex, yes i'll be here. We will be closed to the general public. Only dfwstang members will be allowed. Bring your car on up. This is a general do it yourself day. I will help you diagnose your problem, and recommend the fix, or whatever it may be.

I am giving you instruction and advice. And letting you use the shop, tools, and woodroom so that you may build your own box. Think of it more as a fun class day. I wont actually build your box for you.

I think if I ask him "would you rather go learn some fundamentals of racing and do 10 laps at TMS or go stand around and clean up a wood shop?" the decision would be pretty clear..
