what happened to my high definition channels??????

ok i bought this hdtv samsung.
all of this time i have been waiting to get my cable hooked up. monday minutes before the game i got it hooked up. the guy told me that my hd tuner was built in and i didnt need any equipment. so i loaded the channels and he was right i was so happy to watch the game in my first hdtv. it was an amazing game by the way.. well anyways.. the next day i turn the tv on and try to go back and find the same channels and they are no longer available and all i see is a blank screen?? what could have happened..???
is there a setting i need to change for it to stay or what??
i cant call my cable provider because i got "hooked up" if you know what i mean.
these are just my hd channels every other channels is still there..
any comments will helps thanks.

Maybe the HD offerings are scrambled by the cable provider. On what channel did you watch the game Monday?

you need to contact the guy that installed it in the first place. im pretty sure with fios and digital cable you have to get the channel unlocked through a laptop and stuff... duno how they did it or what service you have but obviously something was reset with the cable company

i cant remember exactly what channel it was all i now is that it was on the 101-109 channel and there was like a little extension on it. so an example of the channel was 105-08 dtv. and i went channel by channel to see if i could find any of the hd channels but none of them popped up. i had all of them discovery, abc, espn, etc.. now i have none..

after i let it sit for a while i get a weak signal or no strength message from the tv.

ill try calling the guy that hooked it up thanks.

What exactly is you're setup? Cable box? Direct wall connect with coax?

Sounds to me like it was hooked right to the wall. Which leads me to believe that you have a QAM tuner in it also. What model tv is it? Do you still get the normal cable channels? Have you tried re-running the auto programming?

Also, you may want to try using a signal booster like this one http://broadband.motorola.com/consum...ignal_booster/

I have one, although not that one. Mines cheap and I used to have a problem with audio on my digital and HD channels being slightly off sync. I got this and that has corrected and my normal analog cable looks a little bit cleaner.

yeah it is straight from the wall with coax. and i still get my normal channels. i have tried re-programming my channels several times and i still dont get anything. i tried unplugging the tv and let it chill for a little bit but and do the programming all over again and i still dont get anything... this is so frustrating..
