Anyone use a cable card in their TV?

Just got the new tv and it allows for a cable card.. If I understand right, it replaces a set top box but doesnt allow for on demand crap or pay per view. Both things I dont care about or use.... Also, how does it work with Tivo? Does the Tivo just change the channel on the cable card instead of the set top box? The TV came with a serial to 1/8" jack, just like the Tivo uses.

Just get the Tivo series 3 if you want cable card/tivo at same time. Cable cards are OK and you can order PPV's with them. You cannot access VOD or other 2-way functions....yet.

Yep, that's the series 3 tivo. Pretty nice piece, but it's $$.
