Question

I have a friend who wants to put one 12" Kicker Comp VR in a 97 S10. Is there enough space back there. And where can i get the sub and for how much, he wants to buy it from a shop w/ warranty. I told him how you can get stuff real cheap online but he didnt want to deal w/ that. I know a few of yall work at shops so let me know what you can do, ill need a box, and the sub and a wiring kit. Want to buy it tuesday.
Thanks
CRAIG

yes...

there is plenty of room for one 12. you can try crank it up car audio in north richland hills for the sub. it will prob run about 200.oo though. for the box, try a stealth box by jl audio, but it is like being raped w/o any lube($). i can build you a custom box either out of mdf board or fiberglass. the amp wireing kit you can either peice together yourself or but the entire kit from bb or cc for like 50.00-70.00 bones. hope this helped.

I don't think the JL Audio enclosures are like being raped w/o any lube. They are built nice, fit nice and sound good. They are not free but not everyone has the materials, knowledge, skill, to build an enclosure as nice as the JL one.

Josephs in Mesquite has the Comp VR 12's for $105. They also have a bunch of different boxes too.

If you can make me a box similiar to the JL Audio Stealtbox in my 'Vert I'd pay you a couple hundred for it. Let me know if you want pictures and dimensions, etc...
