Question What would you do????

Ok I have a delima here. I have everything I need now except subs. I don't need an spl champ system, just something that will produce nice tight accurate bass. I found killer deals on Kicker Comp VR's in 10's and 12's. I was thinking I would be happy with 10's. I mean they'll play as low as I would need and could get loud if I want them to. The 12's would be a little over kill, but they are only $8 more, per pair, for them compared to the 10's. The sub amp will be big enough to push either set. Also if you know of any budget minded subs that wouls sound good also, suggestions are welcome. Oh yeah these will be in a sealed box.

Well since the cost difference is neglible and you have the amp to push either I guess I'd have to ask if you have the room to go with the bigger woofers. Sorry if I'm not of much help

I guess room is no real issue either. I have the whole hatch area.

If it is for a 94 formula, then JL Audio makes 2-single 10" enclosures and 1-3 10" enclosure. All sound great. The Stealthbox is my favorite and it leaves the complete well open for t-tops, stuff, or a tow strap for that GM.

Sorry this is for my 88 LX. I don't have the Formula anymore. I guess I forgot to add that in there. So I have the Mustang back hatch area. I'll probably get a Probox. THe owner lives out this way and my friend knows him personally so I can get a hookup.

i would get mtx 8000 or 7000 (10's) they are 500 watt rms/1000watt max and arent too expensive. they are the cleanest i have heard in a while and they are .85 enclosure. but for the kickers i would go with 10's. you get pretty much the same volume w/ twelves. its just the 10's aren't as deep
