Dynomat

I want to do my whole car, floor, roof, doors and trunk.

Where is the best place to buy it, and how much you think I need.

What kind of car? I used around 200 sq ft in my Explorer, and I did the WHOLE thing, even triple layered the doors and rear hatch. I bought all of mine from EW at Autosound. It's not cheap, and it takes a lot of work, but overall it's worth it if you plan on keeping the car for a while.

$250 for 36 sq feet of Extreme Dyno mat... that will probobly do if u just got some raddling here and there but if u wanna do it right and do EVERYTHING then ur gonna need a few of those paks... it really isnt that hard to do at all... with the extreme all u really have to do is pull the film off and slap it on! (some cutting and some under statement there but anyone that isnt a moron can do it)

the trickiest part is the door... many ways to put it on, here's one of em
http://www.crutchfieldadvisor.com/S-...on.html?page=3

here the video on how to put it in
http://www.crutchfieldadvisor.com/S-...mat_movie.html

if your puttin it all in yourself i would recomend the extreme line b/c u dont need any heat gun or anything for instalation... its better anyways and its only a little more... they have the ghetto knockoff shit out there for about half the price but the best is the real stuff...

of course if you got the money, then hell, pay someone else to install it... to give you an idea, it is about $200 for the dyno and instalation for two doors... u still got the floor pannel, roof, trunk, and dont forget the damn license plate!

good luck man

Come out and see us at thunder audio, 972-418-6100 in carrollton, bulk pack is $250, but dfw stangers get a discount. You have to be sure to tell counter your from dfw stangs, and you want a price from the owner. Were factory direct and well save ya good amount. you wont pay near the $250 (bulk pak 36 sq. ft.)

It's definitely not hard, per say, if you know how to disassemble and reassemble your interior. But it is a LOT of work, volume wise. Doing an entire vehicle takes some time, and is tedious.

Don't buy it anywhere before getting a price from EW at Autosound as well.

It is no where near $250 for the 36sq ft box. Dynamat Xtreme works very well and will not fall down from the roof in the heat unlike some other products. TAC MAT is a great insulator and Dynaliner is now peel and stick.

I have done it before I helped Tiny Tim do his lightning, I know its consuming, but is well worth it.

Thank god my car doesnt have any rattles, I just want it make it a bit quiter inside.

Agree, I used three bulk packs for the Expy - picked 'em up from EW!

I paid well under $200 each for the last couple of extreme bulk packs I bought. All you need is a box cutter, some windex and towels. You can use the roller but I just use the blunt end of a screwdriver.

The extreme is WAY easier to install than the original btw.

I also used DynaXorb in my doors, not sure if it's worth the money or not but it's slightly more difficult to install. Hearing speakers in the soundboard with and without it there is a drastic difference but in an odd shaped door I'm not so sure.
