cple amps need a fixing

I got 2 amps: punch 160a II amp kinda old
Other one is an Alpine. Don't remember what kind but it puts out I believe 100-110 RMS @ 4 ohms. I'll get model # when I get home. I can get pwr to it but no output.

Anybody know a place where I can get this fixed if it doesn't cost me an arm and leg. Like to use the Alpine one..it's a few years old. I'll use it for my fronts.

Irving area or close to it.

thanks

PM EW, I'm sure he could fix you up or at least send you in the right direction. He's only 10 minutes from Irving @ Autosound in Bedford.

Yea, I kind of figured that. Just trying to see who y'all have experienced with. I know he gets alot of pm's, so I figured I would ask around 1st. If no replies, then I would pm him.

Most repairs are around $100 each. If the amps are very old, just buy new. New ones will have a warranty, better technology, and more adjustments.

100$....I could of dealt with maybe 50$ It's an Alpine mrp-t406. Pretty decent amp for what I want. My bro disconnected speakers but left power to amp and the leads touched which poped a cap(which I replaced). Amp turns on now, just no output to speakers. Don't know what to check. Oh well, guess that's the end of the amp.

MRP is Alpine's cheaper stuff anyway. No great loss. The newer amps put out more power for less money and have better crossovers.
