Question Adding a sub/amp to a Mach 460 system

Guys, I'm a car audio retard. I'm not an audiophile...as long as things sound clear and loud, I'm content... I do have a 10" JL sub and a 2 channel Alpine amp that I want to add to my Mach 460 set up. I've had them for quite some time but never got around to installing them. What all needs to be done to add a single sub to an existing Mach 460 setup? Are there any write ups online that give a "how to?" I also haven't upgraded my stock head unit yet. I've got my choices narrowed down to he Clarion MP3 head unit of the Kenwood Z828.

Help please!!

Ken Alford (Dechman) has some pretty good info on his website that's worth a look.

The Ford MACH 460 system - Ways to upgrade the stock MACH460 system, and pictures of the speakers and amps in a convertible

And you might pay particular attention to his two links on how to add subwoofers.

Here is another good Mach 460 referece site.
