It is official. I have seen the worst ground ever.

Ground from amp to hinge bracket on a REMOVEABLE rear seat in a suburban. At least it had a gold plated ring on it.

I'd say thats more of a spark/noise generator than a ground

Have you seen an unfused power wire ran through the headers before though? I have and it also wrapped around the torque arm and underneath the driveshaft over to the fuel pump.

I don't know if I've seen a power wire that bad. Unfused and run over the fender and through the door jamb is common.

Well the shop that did it is out of business finally, thank god The car was driven onto a trailer and towed away. A couple of blocks driving probably would have burned it to the ground.

when i was installing i worked on a 2002 jetta that was done buy a local shop with a big name . anyways i was putting a radio in and taking out the factory, he already had subs and a amp. i got to looking the power wire was run down the front of the core support under the car UNDER THE LOWER CONTROL yes folks it was hanging under the car then ran all the way down to the back to a body plug whitch they removed and just stuffed the wire up through it. i got the custumer to call the shop he had it done at and made them give him a full refund on everything. i hate shitty work
