SoloX

Has anyone heard a Kicker SoloX 10 yet? I just redid all the stereo stuff that was in my car when I bought it and went with the SoloX just curious what you have heard about them?

The SoloX is their competition woofer. It handles ass loads of power and plays loud. Usually when a decent quality woofer sounds like shit it's the install not the speaker btw. Given a clean signal and the proper enclosure with the proper power most listeners can't discern the difference between an $89 Audiobahn woofer and a $300 JL one. The difference to someone with a trained ear is substantial though and worth every penny.

i agree with BP i have heard two audiobhans that sound just as good as the twin infinities that i have, and they were half the price....

Distortion is very difficult to pick up on in the lower frequencies, especially with a ported box. I'd probably rather have your Inifinity speakers than anything Audiobahn regardless of the price difference though. For now I'll stick my my Diamonds

I was just curious I went ahead and bought it and I have never been a Kicker fan I have always ran Image dynamic, diamond (espcially their highs ) or Nakamichi. I heard alot of good things about this new SoloX so I thought I would give it a try I had 3 Jl Audio w610 in the car when I bought it and I really wasn't that impressed so I ripped all that shit out and sold it. I just got my car back yesterday from the stereo shop and I am extremly happy with it, I think it sounds and hits ten times harder then the three JL 10s I had.

There is no way those 10s would have out hit what i have in there now ( not bad mouthing JL audio) but this new ten I got hands down hits harder then those JL ever would have.
