Does wind have effects on satellite radio?

Today I wasn't able to pull anything in on the way to work. Just curious if it affected radio the same way I hear that it affects satellite TV. All my stations were coming in - the call letters loaded on the radio display...I just wasn't hearing anything out of them and they worked fine yesterday. On a side note, has anyone else had problems with XM today? Maybe it's just the service.

electricity in the air can effect it ....

To me, clowns aren't funny. In fact, they're kind of scary. I've wondered where this started and I think it goes back to the time I went to the circus, and a clown killed my dad.

Guess it was just a glitch with XM. I had nothing for my 40 min ride to work this morning (6am), but when I went out for lunch, everything was working fine.

Shouldn't, we have GPS and Sat based radio on our aircraft.... Doesn't effect them.

If wind affected it, then why would they install them in cars? I think driving 65 or in some cases 95 down the highway would make some "wind".
