Rear speaker question in my 94

Are they 5x7 or 6x8? Where can I get an adapter plate. I want to put some 6x9 speakers in there. It's non-mach 460. I can't find them anywhere.

5x7 and 6x8 is the same size. Don't think you can fit 6x9 without some cutting

They are 6x8. 5x7 is smaller than 6x8 but the mounting holes are placed in the same spot as 6x8's because untill recently there were very few choices when it came to 6x8's since ford seems to be one of the few companies that wont just go to 6x9. 6x9 wont fit unless you cut.

You can get the adapter plates to go from 5x7 to 6x9. I'm just wondering where to find them. Nobody local has them. I have found them online, but I'd rather not deal with internet ordering.
