mp3 players

Are they really as good as the idea seems? Are there any to stay away from? Trying to find out, cuz i have a hella big list of mp3's, and fast cd burner, and thats alot cheaper than buying every cd to match my mp3's.

I think having an MP3 Car Player is a good idea and I plan on getting one as soon as the one I want comes down in price. Fry's had the Aiwa refurbs advertised for like $100 a couple of weeks ago. I should have jumped on it but didn't have the cash. Several other low end manufacturers are making them now but I'd read the review and go for a brand name.

Hey jeff, i have one in the R/T... I think its the best audio piece iv'e ever bought.. Mine is a Rockford Fosgate.... I couldn't tell you the exact model but I like it.
Each 700MB Cd holds about 150-170 songs.
The quality is realy good
It also reads song title and artist on the face..
Its easy to read at night and semi-dificult during the day
Other then that it works well
The only thing I could consider buying in the future is a screen
I wonder if I can run both anybody have ideas???
Maybe put the Mp3 player in the glove box....

Do they make an mp3 player that i can attact to my stock GM stereo? I dont want to put a full deck in, because that makes it more obvious i have a system (besides me telling everyone right now)

Depending on the year of your vehicle and model of radio, Peripheral has a changer adapter that also has RCA inputs on it so you can connect anything with an RCA output to it. Your factory radio will think it is playing a changer. Also, Kenwood and Eclipse will have new "music keg's" this year that hold a bazillion songs and they will probably be able to plug in through the changer input with an adapter or FM modulator.
