Like anything car related it depends on your budget. I have a Scytek 5000RS in my Sonoma, it was dirt cheap and the batteries last way longer than they did with the Clifford 2 way system I had. The range isn't as good but it's acceptable. Retail on it is around $250.

Their visionguard 6000 system takes a picture when it goes off and sends it to the remote, which is full color btw.

Talking alarms are crap.
2 way alarms are good because they page you if the alarm goes off, you get good distance, confirmation of start, etc but they do not offer the best in "security" such as multiple kills, remotely adjustable digital sensors, etc.
I like the Clifford Avant Guard 5 the best but if you add enough stuff to it, the Clifford Matrix 3.5RS is good too.

Get a clifford 10.5. this is a 2-way alarm system. it has keyless entry sensitivity level adjustment on the keychain. This alarm will tell where the car is being messed with. It has a range of about 3/4 of a mile and is very sensetive. And if you want remote start get the Clifford 3.5 it has all of that and remote star. I have that on my car and its the shit.

One sensor
one kill
one fuse pulled or one wire cut (same effect) defeats entire alarm (and kill in most cases although it is selectable)
I'll bet one press of the valet switch to defeat (but it can be programmed for 1-5 presses)
What about ignition kill?
What about wireless fuel kill?
What about proximity sensor?
What about glass sensor?
What about tilt sensor?
What about back up battery siren?
What about GPS locator?
It takes much more than a basic alarm to be "the shit".

Exactly my last car had a 2 way remote start. It had nice features given. But the range wasn't all that and you could defeat the whole alarm by cutting ANY alarm wire or unplugging it from the battery. What good is that really??

You can not defeat them by cutting any wire but in most cases it is not that difficult. However, it can be more difficult with the right product and right install.

Is it absolutely necessary to post your dyno numbers in every single post that you make? We realize that you bought a car that makes alot of power, congratulations, but it will blow up, it's a 2V. From now on, please refrain from telling everyone how "top of the line" your HOT new Saleen is, when I'm sure that most others, including myself don't need to see you flaunt the hot rod that YOU didn't build in every damn thread you touch.

BTW, Your spelling sucks.
