Thumbs up JL Amps are quite nice

I scored one of the 300/4 (75x4) and man is it a nice clean amp. Sounds like the PPI Art Series but with the addition of modern technology. Has HP/LP x-overs (fully adj from 20-5000Hz!), selectable input sensitivity, and takes 4gau wire in.

I also have coming a 500/1 mono sub amp. They are class D and like the others make the same amount of power from 1.5ohm-6ohm.

I'll keep you guys posted them.

(severely in need of updating, around 14 vehicle current)

amps

I work at an extreme audio place up here in Missouri. JL's 250 is one of the amps we have on our board among many. Well after running through the amps that were up and seeing what could take what...That JL out pushed every amp on the board. It sounded great even when we had it pushing 8 12's!!!!....Just thought I would share

.......

Not to mention, we fried one of our MTX amps and all the other amps would shut off at that kinda load. But not the JL! It didn't even heat up!!

Are you joking FFC? I love JL and so do tons of competetors and dealers, they are doing great right now and I know the R&D team has something up their sleeve for the future.

JL ROCKS!!!!!!

Oh and thanks to EW and a few others I'm deciding on probably going with a complete JL system

I have the 500/1 and the 300/4. They have high, high quality. Modern electronics and options, and run nice and cool!
