Whatever happend to HiFonics?

I remember they used to have some pretty good stuff and I still have one of there Mono Subwoofer amps at home. Just wondering what happened to them.

Im pretty sure Hifonics sold out to Alpha sonoc then alpha sonic sold out to USA acoustics. I dont know waht happened after that.
But, Yeah!
Some of those old Hi fonics used to rock.
Your takling about the Zues/ boltar amps riiiight?

Ya, I'm talking about those amps. I have an old HiFonics Hercules mono Subwoofer amp. 200 Watts at 4 Ohms and like double into a 2 Ohm load. I had that and a High Current HiFonics Isis and a nice little system I had in my 86 SVO.

Man, some of the old amps I used to have seem to be better than some of the stuff available now. I especially loved the old Fosgate stuff, I had a pair of Punch 150's and a single Punch 75. Wish I still had those amps
