How to mount the amp?

Im FINALLY getting around to putting in this stereo in the '62. I need to know how to mount the amp. Anybody got any pictures of amp installs? Its probabbly gonna go straight up and down in the right rear of the trunk. Whats the cleanest way to do this. Its gonna be made out of wood, then probabbly painted or vinyl wrapped.

Thats my set up, i got the cap mounted on the left and the amp is on the right side of the box. I'll try to get a better shot of the amp.

Here is where I want it... but up off the floor and more toward the front.

There is some metal at the back that I could attach it to, and then the floor right there has screws already for the trunk board on the sides.

I have no sub(s). This is for the 4 speakers in the car. So, I cant mount it to a sub box.

BTW, here is a center console we made for the car. It will have a water temp and oil pressure or volt guage below the radio. The guages are factory looking, they will be surrounded by trim like the stock guages have. On each side of the radio we are gonna add some more wood so the 6.5" speaker faces about 45* out on each side. The whole thing will be wrapped in red vinyl.

Here is what I came up with. Still needs a little tweaking to fit just right. Im probabbly gonna leave some room infront of the amp to put a capictor if I end up needing to.

Looks really good. I did the same thing except on the driver side on my 66'. You shouldnt NEED a cap but they sure look cool. If you need some ideas for a sub box I can send you some pics of mine. Its still in its unfinished stage. Nice job though. Cant wait to see it covered.

you have the same head unit as i do, i love mine. As for the capacitor, i would recommend some subs before the cap.
