A. The 300/2 is not a bass amp.
B. What ohm load are your 10W0's? You want to match your amp's capability to the ohm load you'll be driving. If you had 3-10W0 in a JL enclosure, they are probably 12 ohm woofers which means the lowest ohm load you'll have for the pair will be 6 ohm. Most amps need to see 4 ohm mono to maximize their output. Some need to see 2 ohm mono to maximize output. Without knowing the ohm load of your speakers, I'll say get the JL Audio 250/1. It is a bass amp. It will be enough power. It will put out the same amount of power from 1.5-4 ohm and 10.5V-14.4V. Since it is Class D, it will run cooler and be more efficient too.

250/1 will be fine. Just don't buy an amp that needs to see 2 ohm to maximize output and you'll be fine.

I would go JL out of the two cause I think Rokford Foscrap is awful and belongs in the Compton Swap Meet along with Memphis and other shit car audio companies.

Go with Phoenix Gold if you're really looking for a quality amp.

look, FFC, fosgate's 2004 model amps are "supposed" to be good, but i haven't persoanlly used them, but fosgates subs have been shitty for a couple of years now.

<-- I'm not a huge JL fan, $ for $, but I'd take most of JL's line over most of Fosgate's line.

I realize that the question wasn't directed at me, but i personally don't like JL's mid/highs all that much.

at least not the ones that i've heard anyways.

What Alpine are you planning on running? You may want to look at Alpine Digital Mono Amps. They can be controlled by some Alpine Headunits.

03 Mineral Grey Cobra Back in the game!
Going for 500 w/stock Eaton...

00 Accord EX V6

Yamaha Warrior XV1700PC

If you're going to make kick panels, you should probably use a 6.5, you will get alot stronger mid range in general.

CDT, Focal, RE, Diamond, Quart, Memphis, Alumapro, Rainbow, etc.

there are literally dozens of companies that make great equipment.

to me it depends on what the purpose you are after, as some will sound better, and some will get much louder,

some will have a brighter response, while some will have a very prominant mid range /midbass.

the best way is to listen to them, although I'm personally quite drawn to the RE XXX 6.5, www.reaudio.com

I personally don't like the Polk stuff, for the money, you can buy better.

check out CDT components, great sound for the $$$, depending on your budget.

Hell yeah! Well, I'm not still using them, but a couple of Petras 12s was my very first system back when I was 16. I've learned a lot since then, but they were the bomb (to me) at the time.

I remember when Pyle Drivers and M&M Godfather speakers were the shit! If you had Orion speakers you were the man back then. Linear Power, PPI art series and the water cooled crap, Hifonics Zeus and don't forget Mark Fukuda and his Power 1000s! Hell I remember going to Doc Thunder sponsored crank it ups and I still want one of those Route 66 Phoenix Gold amps.

Buell 1125R
Raptor 700R
