Alpine AUX input & splitters

Thinking about replacing my Mach 460 system with Alpine electronics and some new speakers. I've got a question about the Alpine auxiliary input.

If I used this adapter: Link

Then could I get two sets of inputs by adding something like one of these?
Monster Y-Adapter
RCA Splitter Cable 1Male/2Female
Radio Shack Y-Adaptor

Would this cause any problems? I don't think it would, but I thought I'd ask some other audio buffs. I'd like to be able to hook up my XM SkyFi through one set and have another set available if I wanted to add something like an iPod.

Edit: I know I'd have to use one on each channel, so I'd have to have a Y for the right channel and another Y for the left channel.
