Auxiliary Input/RCA help

I have a 2000 GT with the 460 mach system and I want to hard wire my ipod directly to my stereo. I've been looking all over the net for an Auxiliary Input but all i can find are the ones for 2001+ models because i guess those stereos had an extra input for an optional in dash cd changer. So i was wondering if anyone has any ideas how to add an input or done it

check for P.I.E products... you can order them online, but thats just about it. By the time you get done with it, you might as well buy a cheaper deck to do it with.

you could alway try an fm modulator.... the only thing is it will kill a little of the sound quality not bad though. I can get these for cheap all day long.

I checked Soundgate and P.I.E. and did not see anything for 2000 down. An FM modualtor will work ok. Wired will sound better than wireless.

i you do a FM modulator, go wired or get a nice one. I tried the POS from Radioshack made by Monster and it sucked. I eventually bought one from BestBuy $110 one and it worked great. I used it all the way to Kansas and back.

A decent FM moduator, wired or wireless, should be $50 or less. There are a few that are more expensive but I can't tell a difference in sound quality.

yes $50 is alot closer to the right price if you ask me. Thats even for the Audiovox pieces that i can get. and thats for the "y" antenna piece that you will need to get this installed.

The FM modulator has RCA input and female antenna input/male antenna output. There should be no "Y" cable needed.
