Thumbs down Track woes on Fri.

I had ET streets on and still didn't run good times.

On my first run I was scared to launch hard on the MTs so I bogged and got a 2.2 60' ran a [email protected]

Yolanda tried her first ever burnout and she forgot to do it in 1 so the car shifted on her. But she ran a [email protected] w/2.2 60'

On the second run she and I were getting ready to run, but they decided to prep the track right before we ran. I guess the VHT didn't have time to dry because I decided to go for BROKE and launch hard. All that netted me was tremendous wheelspin, the car got sideways and I got a 2.4 60' and I missed 4th so don't ask what I ran

Yolanda did a great smoky burnout, but she left the car in 1st for her run and didn't upshift so she banged the limiter and crept down the track until she realized what was going on.

Man I'll be soooo glad when I finally get my car dialed in. I'm tuning with the A-tap trying to adjust the A/F to this cam. I need some 4.10s and I need to raise the rev-limiter.

Oh and Lane and I found out why Yo's car is only trapping 101. Her car is very lean and the comp is pulling timing and she is getting 4 degrees knock retard. Her headers are going on Sat. and she is getting some tuning so after all that she should have close to 335rwhp.

So basically we sucked Fri. night..............maybe we were anxious to get to our Hotel room. hahahahahahaha

Racing Dynos

JC is the perfect example why you can't race a dyno sheet. This should be a lesson to all Ls1.com owners world wide!

JC,
I have a question for you. Did you not tell me, that you removed your GT badges off your car? And if so, that they just had the double sided sticky tape and no holes? I tried telling Jay, supercharged2k that, but he wouldn't believe me.

Actually my car was a 99 so my side badges were the 35th anniv. ones. I left them on.

I pulled off the GT badge from the trunk and it had no holes behind it.

JC, what does my moms 10sec LS1 have to do with your 13.2 run????? So is it normal to spend $800 on a cam, and go slower? MPH is kinda weak......maybe you DO need to go back to racing dyno's. You fit in perfect at Fastech!

side badges

FYI~

My '01 Cobra has alignment holesbehind the side badges. I know this because when I went to pick it up, it was missing a Cobra on the driver's side. There were 2 holes, one on top of the other one. When I finally got the Cobra, it had extremely sticky tape on it and 2 posts (that went into the holes) that made it fit perfectly on my fender.

Just thought I would let you know.

Ahhhh, that's okay. I'm man enough to handle it. My car will be dialed in soon enough. Until then, I'll stick to dyno and highway racing.

Heck at least I can still drive it everyday and I'm not trying to trade it in because the tranny is shot.

JC...you better watch out for Kirks mustang....cause if its anywhere near stock, its gonna be hard to handle for your 13.2 sec monster. You better stick to preying on stock 4.6's...

So what is your next mod? Are you shooting for 13.0's, or making the jump for 12.90's?

I can't believe you guys say I dyno race. I'm at the track more than you are Kirk!!!!!

I dyno to check out my A/F and get the car tuned right after I make changes.

I've only dynoed my Z 3 times. Once after my headers, then after I seemed down on power @ HRP, and now after my cam install....all so I could see what was going on. I know what the problem is as far as the track goes and that will be taken care of soon. So like I said, when your coupe is finally ready, so will I be. Although I will more than likely be waiting till next year for your car

Gears and HPP3.

Why don't you help me so I can run 11s and then let it sit, broke down in garage, while I make payments on it?

Damn, I hope not but that may be the case. I certainly don't intend to rush it. I'm really waiting to see what my job situation is before I jump in with a wad of cash. I should know in 3-4 weeks.

Did I miss something? I never saw JC talking trash, unless he was joking around. And, most people would want to know how a new mod is doing(especially a cam), and dyno it.

What's up Chris? All your posts on LS1.com and now here seem to be attacking people. If it's not Sean(KECHME), it's JC - now. Why the bitterness? Or are you becoming 302pafII?

Lane, its all in jest! Jc just "upped his game" to 13.20's.....I was just razzing him a bit. You have met me in person, do I seem like a hell bent person out to bash everyone? As for Sean.....he is a good guy...I have never attacked him, or his work....just his customers track times I like building FAST cars, not fast dyno sheets! Besides, I don't have a car right now...so only thing I can do is talk noise

I heard about the 11.0 run....heads/cam/headers/torque convertor,150 spray....11.0.

11.0 is a good Et for a street car, no doubt....but BRAD drove HIS car to 11.1 with stock heads/stock cam/stock convertor. There was another car out there running LOW 11's with stock everything, even manifolds......mods being a TNT kit and Yank convertor. But if you single it out, I guess it could look impressive.

13 sec cars are pretty reliable, huh? Your small time JC....if you ever had a car that was really fast (no, not 13.2 sec fast like yours), then you would realize that fast cars break parts But, some people like yourself are happy with 13.2's....im not.

Bwuhahahahahha.........THAT'S YOUR EXCUSE! hahahahahaha....you must be really smart. You wanna break parts? Be my guest....I'll just keep driving my 363rwhp, working car everday.

hahaha..LMBO at this idiot. Have you dusted your cars off today? Do you have to push them out the way so you can get the lawnmower out of the garage?hahahahha....Ex-10sec broke car.

I just had to reply to this. I'm small time? Hahahahahhaa....OMgoodness....I can't believe this!!!!

I'm small time! The computer can't even begin to relay how I'm falling out of my seat laughing at this.

You spend up you and your Mom's money to make your Mom's car fast. Then it only runs 10s once.

I'm small time? You aren't getting paid to run 10s yet you do it at the expense of the 28k car that you are making payments on.

I'm small time? You eat at your Mom's house, you sleep at your Mom's house, you drive HER car, you break HER car.

I'm small time? Bwuahahahahahahha...........get a life boy and grow up. You got your priorities screwed up.

I would but the car is getting the asr fixed. You might want to have asr installed on your car. With that much power you might need help with reducing tire spinage.

I really can't believe you guys are saying this shit to JC when he comes to the board to post about a disappointing night. Chris, when your mom's car went 10's, did it do it on a 2.2 60'? Everybody has bad nights at the track. Shit, i bet JC's 13.2 on a bad night is better than what YOU ran after all your professionally built cars broke! Oh wait, it IS better, since none of them are running ANYTHING right now!

And that crap about not bashing Sean...that's about the funniest backpedaling comment you've made. You're right, you didn't bash sean...you bashed his business, his runs, his customers' cars and their runs, but you never actually bashed him as a person. Funny as hell that you make a distinction there, because as someone trying to run a business, i don't think he makes that distinction.

As to you brad, why the hell do you have to post in every thread where Chris is acting like a dickhead just to AGREE with him? If I were you, I'd wait until he posts something a little less prick-ish and then chime in.

'98 Camaro SS: Incon twin turbo. Sold
'99 Camaro SS: Heads/cam/bolt-ons. Sold.
'91 Camaro RS: Stock.

2010 Camaro SS: Hell yes.

Ty

Brad is Chris' pet monkey. You know the one's with the little red hat that run around the owner and have their hands out for food?

I would actually feel embarrased to be somebody's lackey like he is but, what ever floats his boat.

Brad, if you're not willing to race JC, isn't it gay for you to call his car is slow?

Not in my oppinion when he talks all his shit and can't run for shit. He calls my car slow and he is the one running times you would expect from a low modded 5.0.

Alright then pansy-boy, go search through this forum, as far back as you want, and find a case where JC talked smack without EVERYONE knowing he was just playing around. Go for it. I'm waiting. I want to see the quote.

BTW, "opinion" has one P.

JC talks shit in jest, like me. He never claimed to be the fastest car on the board, only faster than you. If you're claiming that is BS, then race him and prove him wrong. Otherwise, I don't see the point of ragging on a person that had one bad run.
