You were the one who brought the cops into it in the first place. I was merely retorting that though I have also lived in a metro area, I have been dicked around a lot by police in OKC. And the correct term would be, I was being a bitch, I am female, and no I wasn't. We were pulled over for burning the tires in a 4 cyl. 80something cavalier for, and I quote "2 full street blocks". Yea, as if that could happen. The tickets were dismissed by the judge and I got my money back. The main reason was, the beer can was in the trunk, it's only illegal if its in the car, and we refused to let him search it, and he did anyway. We were refused our right to be given a breathalizer or a sobriety test. I was living in OK at the time, so you can't blame it on me being from TX. The cops in OK are way more fuck-offs than they are here. I've been pulled over by several in both areas, I think I would know.
And I've NEVER seen any club scene that compared to TX in OK either. Tulsa, OKC, midwest city, Ardmore, Ada, you name it, I was probably there. I always got bored, and then left.
The problem is, OK has a lot more laws that restrict the amount of fun. On just about anything. My friends and I used to drive to Dallas every weekend when I lived in OK, just so we could actually DO something.
Racing is one of the few exceptions tot his rule. And from what I can tell, it is WAY more prevalent here than it is there. This is coming from a car enthusiast, who has been into it for a while.
OKLAHOMA BLOWS. That's why I moved. I thank god every nite that I live here.
