What is TSP

I keep hearing about TSP this and that on this and other boards...what is it? Is it a club or something?

I think they refer to themselves as more of a "crew" than a club....that right there should tell you something about their membership.

What ever happened to that Greg guy? I tried to race him a long time ago but he said the same thing silverbullet2 would say.

I think I have seen a few at the track, TSP crew members. They all looked like an outstanding group of citizens. They had "fast" cars and some really nice lookin ladies at their sides. I tried to join but didn't make it. In the end I have resorted to hangin' with the crew over here at DFW, as lowly as they all may seem.

Again, I say outstanding citizens of the community.

You see, I don't get this. Do the street races suck so bad that 12 second cars rule the streets?

Seriously i dont see too many "10-11" sec cars at the street races unless its a car at the highway races or james in his FasTECH BAD AZZ z28 but hes for sure not in any crew and TSP may not be into the races so much anymore like back in the day but they are still a crew that has been around!! And this is all just giving props and no need to suck up!!

DDP is a crew that is coming up so watch out for em!!

Is this DDP the same as the "Daily Driven Performance" bullshit that crazyhorse had on his car?

Watch out now! They have a vaporware 1000HP daily driver!

how do you judge how "good" a car club is? By there fastest car? Well, some clubs around here have like one decent car and like corollas and grand am`s all making up the rest. I dont consider dfwstangs a "mad-skillz crew" but, as a group of people who hang out together and share the same community, i would say this group is the fastest right here on this board. But then again, a drag race is more a man-to-man confrontation.

I'm thinking DDP has an 11 sec car, otherwise it wouldn't be cool to down a man of the TSP name. As we all know, TSP has the fastest cars on dis board as well as all the others.

Sounds like to me, DDP is calling the TSP guys a bunch of fags and any car from DDP will ALWAYS outrun a TSP car. I may be reading more into what he said, but that is what I gathered.

When is Kennedale a TSP vs DDP SO series?? I'm first in line for tickets!

LOL....battle of the "Dallas Street Crewz"....no need to even turn on the timing system at the track...everyone just bring a calender or a sundial and you will be fine.

I'm gonna enter my granny's Kia Sophia in the NO ELECTRONICS 3 to 4 day bracket class but I'm not sure I can take that much time off from work, let me check!

Local BIG car club? Um... I consider TSP a bunch of thugs with nothing else to do, who give real car and horsepower enthusiasts a bad name. Just my opinion tho.

I've worked at the Motorplex for quite sometime now and I don't remember ever seeing any 10 second passes from the TSP cars. Which ones ran 10's, please refresh my memory!

I'll have to agree with that. The fastest TSP car I saw ran mid 12s on NAWS.

Are these 10 second cars running right now or are they still on jackstands?

You know, I usually remember a 10 second car, especially if it was a late model Mustang or Camaro. I still can't seem to remember a 10 sec. TSP car. Was it red, black or blue? Was it a stang or camaro, domestic or import? I'd just like to know some details!

Don't hold your breath for an honest reply. If you get one, it was about a car that was around 2 years ago but never actually ran a 10 in the 1/4 mile because they are "streetracers" or about a car that will be ready next month (IOW next year) and will run 10s.

I really didn't expect one! It's funny these guys claim they have 10 second "street cars" but you never see them run that fast at the track. I guess they mark off a 1/4 mile on some street and count "1001, 1002, 1005, 1006..."

as any group or organization, even the flippin Boy Scouts, you are known by what your members do. The people i hang out with also represent my interests also, so whenever they do something stupid, it makes us all look bad. Same goes for DFWstangs. For instance the burnout guy at our sonic meets makes us all look bad. Same goes for car crew members.

Every rumor, no matter how odd, usually is based on some truth. All people remember is "crews" fighting amongst themselves, bad street racing wrecks, violence, etc.

Just my take on it.

i had a 93 orange coupe that ran a 10.78 and a 10.82 at ennis.after those passes i didn't have all the proper safety equipment,so i couldn't run anymore.i joined tsp and started street racing.my car was then stolen.it was recovered with parts missing.i painted it silver and got it running again.i did race alot at yellow belly and the car ran 7.20s with a best of 6.95.the people i did meet at tsp were very cool to be around with.well the car got stolen again with a tow truck a couple of months ago and was totally stripped this time.someone of the board here bought the rolling chassis.

Has anyone seen the red blazer run before that is in true street..
Im sure it was in the 10's i never saw that blazer loose a race.. Back when the races were still good. And i also remembere the red-orange mustang with a white hood that thing was bad i now it was fast. Maybe it was yours pro. 5.0. Had a blower and speed worx sticker on the back
